Genuine Cowhide Leather Mate Backpack – Unique Handmade Design by El Indio A distinctive mate backpack designed for people who want durability, organization, and hands-free practicality without giving up the character of genuine leather. This model features a unique backpack-style design handcrafted from 100% genuine cowhide leather. It was created as a practical alternative to the traditional mate bag, making it easier to carry your full mate setup comfortably while keeping everything organized and secure. The genuine cowhide construction gives the backpack excellent durability, structure, and character. With regular use, the leather will naturally develop its own patina and personality, making each piece even more individual over time. The front features a convenient zippered pocket, perfect for keeping frequently used items within easy reach, such as keys, a phone, wallet, documents, or small accessories. Inside, the backpack includes a built-in thermos holder made from waterproof 600D Cordura, designed to keep the thermos upright, secure, and separated from the rest of your belongings. It also features a dedicated bombilla holder, helping keep your mate setup organized and ready to use instead of allowing the bombilla to perform its traditional disappearing act somewhere at the bottom of the bag. This model also comes with a matching yerbero, creating a coordinated set while giving you a dedicated place to carry your yerba. Its backpack configuration makes it especially practical for commuting, travel, outdoor outings, gatherings, or everyday use. The design allows you to carry your mate essentials comfortably while keeping your hands free. Features - 100% genuine cowhide leather - Unique backpack-style design - Fully handmade - Durable construction for everyday use - Zippered front pocket - Built-in thermos holder - Thermos holder made from waterproof 600D Cordura - Dedicated bombilla holder - Includes a matching yerbero - Designed for carrying a thermos, mate, yerba, and personal items - Functional, organized, and built for long-term use Because genuine leather is a natural material and each backpack is individually handmade, slight variations in grain, tone, texture, and natural markings may occur. These characteristics are part of the authenticity of real cowhide and help make every piece unique. Inspired by my Argentine roots and mate culture, this backpack combines traditional mate functionality with a more modern and practical way to carry it. Handmade in New Jersey by El Indio Matero. A unique leather mate backpack made for those who appreciate quality materials, durability, practical organization, and genuine handmade craftsmanship.
