Coming soon: an Argentine coat of arms shoulder bag

A first look at my latest handmade project: a leather and waxed canvas shoulder bag featuring the Argentine coat of arms.

My latest project is taking shape at the sewing machine: an over-the-shoulder bag made with leather and waxed canvas, featuring the Argentine coat of arms. It is still a work in progress, and I wanted to share a little look from the workshop before the finished piece is ready.

The warm golden canvas and deep brown leather give this bag its character, with the coat of arms as the central detail. In this photo, you can see the leather panel and emblem coming together, a small glimpse of the hands-on work behind every piece.

Everything I make is handmade, and this project is no exception. There is something special about watching separate materials become a bag, one cut and one line of stitching at a time. This one brings a little Argentine pride into something made to be carried every day.

Coming soon to El Indio Matero. I look forward to sharing the finished shoulder bag with you. For now, a little patience, a few more stitches, and a good mate beside the sewing machine.
